Kick 'Corporate Skills' Out of the Academy
Despite the 'standards' rhetoric of Michael Gove, the instrumentalism of education continues as some universities are now awarding marks based on 'work-place relevance'. When Durham University's English department subscribe to such philistinism, you wonder whether the game is already up. Have a read of my response to this here
