Whatever Happened to the Class Strugge?
At the end of November 09, I was asked to speak at Worker's Liberty conference, Ideas For Freedom. The session asked the question 'Is the class struggle out of debate?' It disappeared when the affluent middle class got involved and decided to fight 'on behalf' of the working class. Somehow, that hasn't worked out. I wonder why, he said rather sarcastically.
